These are a few of the concept explorations for teh 1100 Broadway bike locker entry wall. I’m sad I didn’t see this Picaso Bull homage get constructed. The reflective handlebar tape and subtle finish change with the typogrpahy would have been striking!! Buuut I do also understand that it would have been a little heavy handed and agressive for this building and it’s use case. Hey, maybe it’ll live on in a Soul Cycle or Pelaton application. Some of the other concepts played with bike parts matching the building lobby finishes, using a few bike parts in kind of a cool typographic lenticular, and just hanging some bikes on a wall with a quote.
