Lately I’ve been exploring some different things you can do with your slack avatar. This is my first animation. Every day, I change my avatar icon so over time it starts to make an animation. This is a 5 part pendulum swing that makes one full rotation every two weeks (aka pay day!). In addition to pay day, I feel like we can all relate to the repetitive rhythm of your job sometimes and that just needs to be expressed visually!No one has noticed quite yet, that I’ve got this slow swinging animation going on for my avatar. But we’ll see what happens. I’ve got a few other ideas up my sleeve, so stay tuned for more Slack avatar experiments!
